JHAPA, Oct 11: Police have arrested two persons with explosive materials, weapons, and drugs from Kakadvitta in Jhapa.

Bishal Limbu and Anup Urau of Mechinagar-6 were held during a security check, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Basnet. “Illegal drugs were found from a Bolero jeep with Indian number plate, which later led to the recovery of other weapons and explosive materials from the house of Limbu,” said Basnet.
Other materials recovered include letters of appreciation belonging to Sanghiya Limbuwan Rajya Parishad, an outfit operating in the east, a stamp pad, punching machines, two citizenship certificates issued in the name of Bala Subba and Sitaram Angdembe, driving licenses issued in the name of Dal Bahadur Thapa, Bala Subba and Buddha Man Limbu and two mobile phone sets.
