Two arrested with illegal gold from TIA

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Police have arrested two persons with illegal gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Police have arrested two persons with illegal gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu.



Police said they arrested Pratap Gurung, 30, of Panchkanya-30, with 150 grams gold. The gold fetches Rs 749,775 in the domestic market. 



Likewise, police said that they also arrested Tshering Gurung, 36, of Mustang-1, Nangel with 331 grams gold. 



Police said that Gurung, who was heading to New Delhi, had concealed the gold in his handbag.
