Likewise, the second day of the event was divided into various presentation sessions. International speakers talked on cyber security. Apart from workshops and presentation the event featured two panel discussions titled ‘State and Strategies of Cyber Security in Nepal’ and ‘Government Initiative in Cyber Security’.
There also were some stalls for competitions like Live Hacking, Arsenal, Catch a Flag (CFC). In Live Hacking, organizers handed some software with vulnerability (errors through which people can have access to internal data). Participants of Live Hacking had to detect those errors and they were judged on the basis of their accuracy and timing. Arsenal was a demonstration program where people demonstrated their devices that can detect the external attack on software.
Catch the flag was a hacking game where participants had to capture a Flag (Flag is a token randomly placed somewhere in a website).
The event played a crucial role in cyber security by immersing the views of international cyber security experts in Nepal.
