CHITWAN, Nov 16: Two persons died in an elephant attack in Chitwan on Saturday morning at around 9:30 am.

The spokesperson of Chitwan police Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ek Nayaran Koirala informed that the deceased have been identified as Baburam Poudel, 65, and his son Raju Poudel, 35, of Madi municipality-1, Biruwa. They were trampled by the elephant while they were going to Madi-9, Bandarjhula from Baruwa on a motorbike (LU 31 Pa 2911).  


Both of them breathed their last on the spot, according to the police.
