TAPLEJUNG, Nov 27: Police here have arrested Amrit BK, 20, from Hangdewa of Phungling municipality-9 in accusation of raping a 15-year old girl from the same locality.
The District Police Office has initiated an investigation after the arrest. BK confessed that he raped the girl taking her in his home.

Similarly, Mingma Sherpa from Meringden rural municipality-2 was arrested after he was convicted of robbery. The district court had fined Rs 2300 and awarded the imprisonment for six years. He had been absconding for long.
