KATHMANDU, Nov. 30 : The Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot arrested two Indian nationals for possessing a huge cache of banned drugs.

Sabir Ali, 19, and Karan Sahani, 55, of Bihar State, India were arrested along with the controlled pharmaceutical drugs on Thursday night from Thankot during a security check of their car with Indian number plate (BR 1 H 6908). Senior Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Office Pooja Singh said that the banned drug was recovered from their car kept in a bag.


According to the police, a large quantity of diazepam, phenergan, nurofen and others were recovered from the two. SSP Singh shared that further investigations are initiated into the case. RSS
