MUGU, March 28: Two persons have died and four others injured in a road accident that took place in Mugu district on Wednesday.
The accident took place when a jeep (Karnali Province 02-001 Ja 0059) heading towards Sorukot of Soru rural municipality from Gamgadhi fell some 100 meters off the road at Soru-6.

One of the deceased has been identified as jeep driver Kabiraj Nepali while the identity of a woman has not been ascertained yet, Chief of the District Police office, Mugu, Birendra Thapa said.
Manjane Nepali, Sarjan Nepali, Hirading Nepali and Prem Nepali were injured in the incident. Of the injured, the condition of Manjane is reported to be critical.
Thapa shared that the injured have been taken to Mugu District Hospital.
