Two months old infant tests positive for COVID-19

TAPLEJUNG, August 3: A two months old infant in Taplejung district has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The baby tested positive for the virus through the antigen method at Taplejung Hospital after showing symptoms like fever and cough.

According to Dr Soning Lama, medical superintendent of the hospital, the infant is currently undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of the hospital. Although the health condition of the infant is normal at the moment, everyone should be careful and alert from the infection, Lama said.
