Two more Chinese nationals arrested in connection with gold smuggling case

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Two Chinese nationals have been arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in connection with the smuggling of 100 kg gold.

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Two Chinese nationals have been arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in connection with the smuggling of 100 kg gold.


According to the airport police, Lijia Lin and Liu Fuyan were arrested from TIA on Friday.

Police said that they were arrested when they were about to depart for China from TIA. With this, the number of people arrested in connection with the 100 kg gold smuggling case has reached 19.
