MYAGDI, August 2: Two members of the same family were killed in a landslide that occured in Tameng village in Malika Rural Municipality-2 due to incessant rain.
Ward member Bhakti Bahadur Gharti said Navin and Rujan BK died when two houses were swept away by a landslide that fell on the settlement on Monday night.
The bodies of two sons of the missing family have been found, while the search is on for the parents and a daughter. Preparations are being made to take the injured for treatment.

Ward member Bhakta Bahadur Pun said that they are going to the site from different settlements of the ward for search, rescue and relief. Due to continuous rain, there has been a problem in the search for the missing persons.
Although a team including local residents and people's representatives reached the scene for rescue through the area around Tameng Galta, there was difficulty in rescue. Gothe and Gori BK, who were injured in the landslide, are being prepared to be sent for further treatment.
The rain has also made it difficult to send those who were rescued from the landslide for further treatment. "Everyone in the house was asleep, the missing person may have been buried in the landslide," said the rescue team.
Two houses of the settlement where the tribals and Dalits lived were destroyed by the landslide. The rescue team has pulled out two corpses from the landslide site despite continuous landslides from the area of Soledanda near Rum.
