Two RJP-N leaders present themselves at district court

MAHOTTARI, Aug 14: Two RJPN leaders, who have been accused in the murder of assistant-sub inspector Thaman BK of Armed Police Force, have presented themselves at the Mahottari District Court. The two are Suresh Pandey and Jaleshwor municipality’s mayor, Ramashankar Mishra. Both are from Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal.

On August 3, the Janakpur High Court had ordered the police to arrest State Minister of Province 2, Abhiram Sharma, Pandey and Mishra. Sharma, who had surrendered yesterday, was released on ordinary bail. They are three of the 25 accused in the murder during the Madhesh’s unrest. 


They submitted petition demanding that their statement be recorded after appearing before the court at 10 AM today.
