KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Two school buildings constructed with Indian financial assistance in Humla district were inaugurated on Tuesday.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, along with local Nepal government officials jointly inaugurated two projects built with Indian financial assistance in remote locations in Humla district, according to the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.


These two projects, Shree Saraswati Secondary School in Sarkegad Rural Municipality and Laboratory & Library Building of the Shree Mahadev Secondary School in Chankheli Rural Municipality, built with total grant of NPR 55.23 million under ‘Nepal-India Development Cooperation’ framework, were formally handed over in the presence of representatives from various political parties, social workers, officials of Nepal Government, representatives of the School Management, teachers, parents, students and local community.
