TANAHUN, May 8: Approximately 84 households of two villages, Byas Municipality-14 and Bandipur Rural Municipality-6, are forced to live in the dark without electricity.

Every election, poll agenda dominates electricity, drinking water and roads. But they will get least or zero priority once election is over. "We were also promised electricity in the last elections, but only on paper. The villages lack political access either, which is needed in general for electricity," said a local resident.
