KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal Saeed Hamdan AI Naqbi visited the Central Office of Nepal Republic Media Limited in Sundhara. Discussions were held on ways to work together to promote cooperation in all areas possible to further strengthen bilateral relations between Nepal and the UAE.
Welcoming the Ambassador Naqbi at the Nepal Republic Media, NRM Director Shova Gyawali briefed Ambassador Naqbi about the efforts made by the NRM as a leading media house in the country to promote bilateral relations with various countries including Nepal and the UAE. While expressing readiness to join hands with the UAE embassy in Nepal to enhance bilateral interactions between the two countries, Gyawali also thanked the efforts being made by Ambassador Naqbi to promote Nepal-UAE relations.

On the occasion, Ambassador Naqbi said Nepal and UAE enjoy excellent bilateral relations and the areas of cooperation between the two countries have increased significantly over the years. He said that there is a huge scope to harness potential in the fields of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), tourism, trade and agriculture between the two countries.
During the meeting, NRM Chief Executive Sambridhi Gyawali had briefed the ambassador about the Nepal Republic Media Limited's vision, mission and its works. Editorial members of Nagarik and Republica were also present during the meeting.
