Issuing a statement, the school said this year's regional forum focuses on the theme of ‘Finding Purpose through Counseling’ and aspires to bring counselors from all over Nepal and international representatives to share their perspectives, experiences, and resources when it comes to providing impactful guidance to high school students. The forum will feature a keynote lecture, learning sessions from educators and counselors on topics pertaining to guidance counseling, and networking sessions with universities.

“About 25 international universities and 75 local schools will be participating in this momentous one-day event which aims to provide a platform for purposeful interaction amongst Nepali educators, international higher ed representatives, and Nepali students.”

Medin Lamichhane, principal of Ullens School, will speak at the opening ceremony and Ganesh Kohli, founder of the IC3 movement, will deliver a session on “Transforming Schools through Counseling”. Both Ullens School and the IC3 believe that this will be a landmark opportunity to generate awareness about the significance of guidance counseling in schools around Nepal.
