UML General Secy Pokharel urges political parties to unite for development

KATHMANDU, July 24: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has expressed his dissatisfaction to the political parties for failing to come together in regard to the nation's development and prosperity.

KATHMANDU, July 24: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has expressed his dissatisfaction to the political parties for failing to come together in regard to the nation's development and prosperity. 


While addressing a program organized on Saturday in Surkhet, Pokharel said political parties, however, have become successful in forging a political alliance for a system change.

In another context, Pokharel said the UML embodies the continuation of the Nepal Communist Party. He also called for ending the tendency not to extend cooperation in case one is denied an election ticket. 


UML Standing Committee member Yamlal Kandel, who is also Karnali Province In-charge, stressed the need for party cadres and people's representatives to reach out to people and always serve them.
