UML nominates 17 new members as it expands Central Committee

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: The CPN-UML has nominated 17 new Central Committee (CC) members in a secretariat meeting held on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: The CPN-UML has nominated 17 new Central Committee (CC) members in a secretariat meeting held on Thursday. 


This comes in the wake of the party nominating Guru Baral as its Vice Chairman.

The new central committee members include Subas Karmacharya (Sindhupalchok), Kundan Kushwaha (Rautahat), Jitendra Dev (Sunsari), Rampreet Ram (Siraha), Krishna Bhakta Pokharel (Chitwan), Kamal Krishna Timilsina (Achham), Govinda Pun (Salyan), and Kedar Sigdel (Tanahun). 


Manmohan Paudel (Parbat), Bhardev Joshi (Darchula), Hari Upreti (Sarlahi), Indra Bhandari (Jhapa), Mahesh Bartaula (Makwanpur), Sarita Bhusal (Farmers Federation), Prabha Baral (Kaski), Manju Sharma Chalise (Baglung) and Asha Jawegu (Panchthar) are also among those appointed as the CC members.
