KATHMANDU, Jan 7: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the results of the National Assembly election could be unfavorable to the party.

Addressing the District Convention virtually on Friday, Chairman Oli said that it would not be uncommon for the results of the National Assembly election to be unfavorable for his party as the election was held by abusing the previous mandate.

Although the National Assembly election does not look in favor of the party, Chairman Oli claimed that the CPN-UML is the first force in the country and that the party will stand firmly on its own against the ruling alliance in the upcoming elections. He also said that the present government was formed in an unconstitutional way and urged the public to remove it through the process of election.

Furthermore, stating that the people are waiting for a UML-led government, Chairman Oli instructed the party leaders and cadres to join hands in preparations for the election.
