POKHARA, May 16: As the counting of the votes continues in Kaski, the CPN-UML is leading in all local levels of the district.
The district comprised of one metropolitan city and four rural municipalities, CPN-UML is ahead in all local levels. The final result of Madi rural municipalities has already been announced in which the party as emerged victorious.
Likewise, in Pokhara –Lekhnath Metropolitan City, the CPN-UML is leading in mayoral candidate. According to the recent updates, Man Bahadur GC of CPN-UML is leading with 1889 votes whereas Ramji Kunwar of Nepali Congress (NC) has scored 1788. Likewise, for the deputy-mayor, Manju Gurung of CPN-UML is leading with 1795 votes where as Saraswati Gurung of NC is following with 1739 votes.

Likewise, in Annapurna rural municipality, UML is leading with 2491 in chairman and 2598 in vice-chairman whereas Nepali Congress is following with 2359 and 2497 respectively.
Similarly, in Machhapuchre rural municipality also, CPN-UML is leading with 3227 and 2942 in chairman and vice chairman respectively whereas; NC is following with 1995 and 2024 in chairman and vice chairman respectively.
In Rupakot rural municipality, UML is leading in both posts with 2649 and 2466 respectively and NC is following by 1905 and 1919 votes.
