BARA, Sept 3: Main opposition party CPN-UML has finalized a list of candidates for both the sub-metropolitan cities in Bara district to be held under the third phase of local elections.
UML decided to field former deputy mayor and Industry Commerce Association, Bara Chairman Binod Sah for the post of mayor and Pratima Yadav as deputy mayor of Kalaiya Metropolitan City.

Similarly, Dr Krishna Paudel and Saraswati Chaudhary have been picked for mayor and deputy mayor of Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City respectively, publicity department chief of Bara district told Republica Online.
Dr, Krishna Paudel has been involved in the field of politics since 2043 BS. Currently, Paudel is secretariat member of CPN-UML District Party office, Bara.
