UML's Gokul Baskota wins from Kavre-2

KAVREPALANCHOK, Nov 25: Gokul Prasad Baskota of the CPN-UML has been elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kavrepalanchowk Constituency No. 2.

KAVREPALANCHOK, Nov 25: Gokul Prasad Baskota of the CPN-UML has been elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kavrepalanchowk Constituency No. 2.


Baskota won with a margin of 5,863 votes against Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Shiva Prasad Humagai of the Democratic-Left Alliance.

According to the Chief Election Officer, Baskota received 45,345 votes, while Humagai received 39,482 votes.
