KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Uniglobe Higher Secondary School & College and Global College International have jointly donated Rs 51,111 to Magsaysay award winner Mahabir Pun to support Pun's initiative for establishing National Innovation Center.
Handing over the check and a plaque to Pun, UHSS Principal Dr Karan Singh Thagunna appreciated Pun's noble mission.

“This is a token of assistance from our side for Mr Pun's the noble cause. We wish him success in his mission to establish the innovation center,” Thaguna said.
Speaking at a program organized to welcome grade XI students at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi on Wednesday, Mahabir Pun appealed all to contribute to his mission “linked to the country's development.” “Our country's development and progress depend on our ability to harness our immense human capital through the development of science and technology.
If we could do this, we would be able to retain our educated and able-bodied youth within the country,” he said. Pun also urged students to spread his message.
“I am in a mission to help people make the best use of science and technology of modern era. You can help by spreading information about this in your family, neighborhood and the community,” Pun said.
A documentary on Mahabir Pun made by a group of Uniglobe students was also screened during the program.
