DOLAKHA, April 13: The upgradation work of Charikot-Jiri road section is taking place at a good pace with completion of blacktopping upto Namdu bazaar. The construction company said 22 kilometers stretch of the total 55 kilometers has already been blacktopped.
According to the construction company, blacktopping of almost 66 percent of the Charikot-Jiri section of the road has been completed and the remaining task of the blacktopping will be completed within the next few months. “As the construction work is moving in full swing, the remaining part of blacktopping work is expected to be completed in next few months,” Chairman of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality Chhabi Lama said.
Minister Yadav inspects Lamosanghu-Jiri road section
A joint venture of Indian company Woodhill Infrastructure Limited and Nepal's Lama Construction Company had won the tender bidding of the project for the completion of 55 kilometers road by mid-August, 2021. Rabindra Shrestha, Manager of Lama Construction Company, said the project will be completed within the stipulated deadline if the construction works continue at the current pace.
