KATHMANDU, Feb 27: US Deputy Foreign Minister Afreen Akhter is going to hold a high-level meeting today.
According to the US Embassy here, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister Akhtar, who is in charge of the US Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs for Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan and the Maldives, arrived in Kathmandu on Monday for a visit to Nepal.
Nepal, Japan Foreign Ministers hold bilateral talks
Minister Akhtar is scheduled to discuss how bilateral relations between the US and Nepal can advance education and health, human rights, democracy development and mutual economic prosperity.
