Visually impaired given mobile sets to help them with studies

POKHARA, June 7: A total of 14 visually impaired students of Kaski district have been provided with special mobile phones in order to help them with their studies.

POKHARA, June 7: A total of 14 visually impaired students of Kaski district have been provided with special mobile phones in order to help them with their studies. 



The mobile phones of Samsung brand provided by Kriyashil Nepal, an organization working for the rights and development of people with disabilities, feature all types of audio and a software that help read all sorts of e-books, said the organization Chairman Birendra Raj Pokharel. 



The beneficiaries are studying in Grade 11 and Bachelor's level. Those pursing Bachelor's level studies are from the Prithivi Narayan Campus. The organization has also distributed Braille textbooks them. RSS
