Voters' list rises in Mugu

MUGU, Feb 20: Four thousand new voters have been added to the voters' list in Mugu district since the Constituent Assembly election 2014. There were 23, 821 voters in 24 VDCs of the district. The number of voters has increased to 28,000, according to the district office of the Election Commission.

MUGU, Feb 20: Four thousand new voters have been added to the voters' list in Mugu district since the Constituent Assembly election 2014. There were 23, 821 voters in 24 VDCs of the district. The number of voters has increased to 28,000, according to the district office of the Election Commission.



There are 55 voting centers in total in the district. 



“The commission is still processing the list of voters and the additional number of voters will get validity only after the voters' list is published by the Election Commission. Otherwise, the voters' population will remain the same as before,” informed Rajiman Budha, the acting chief of the district-based election commission office.
