Voting for new office bears of Nepal Bar Association underway

KATHMANDU, April 2: Voting for the election of new leadership of the 26th Central Working Committee of the Nepal Bar Association is currently underway.

KATHMANDU, April 2: Voting for the election of new leadership of the 26th Central Working Committee of the Nepal Bar Association is currently underway. 


The voting has started simultaneously from 35 places across the country including in the Kathmandu Valley, according to Senior Advocate Usha Malla Pathak, Chief Election Officer of Nepal Bar Association. The voting that began at 8:00 in the morning is scheduled to conclude at 4:00 p.m today.

The election is being held for a 25-member working committee including 11 office bearers. There are a total of 9,708 eligible voters. Of them, 5,700 are in the Kathmandu Valley while 3,500 others are based outside Kathmandu Valley.
