NAWALPARASI, Dec 7: Vice President, Nanda Bahadur Pun, will arrive in Nawalparasi at 5 pm today to attend the inaugural ceremony of Western Regional Nawalparasi Industrial Trade Fair starting from Thursday at Sunbal locality of the district.
The VP will stay at the Lotus Resort at Sunbal and is scheduled to meet with chiefs of the government offices and senior industrialists in the district.
On Thursday morning, VP Pun will visit the Ramgrama Stupa, where Lord Buddha's remains are kept. He will inaugurate the trade fair in the afternoon.
The trade fair is being held by Nawalparasi Chamber of Commerce under the banner 'Peaceful Prosperous Industry and Trade a Strong Basis for Nation Building'.
The fair will showcase 300 stalls and is expecting more than 300,000 visitors. The Chamber has set a goal of overseeing a transaction of around Rs 100 million during the fair, Chamber's Chairman and Fair Main Organizing Committee Coordinator, Bhim Bahadur Thapa (Bharat) said. RSS
