“The Province 2 government will not allow cutting down trees until the DPR of proposed airport is prepared,” said CM Raut, adding, “DPR is not ready, yet the land mafia are lobbying hard to cut down the trees.”

He asserted that the central government has to coordinate with the provincial government and take permission before initiating any works within the province with the federalism already in place.

Under the Green Province Campaign, the Province 2 government has planted a total of 50,000 saplings in all the eight districts on Friday.
