Weather forecast: Chances of snowfall in three provinces

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is a general influence of the westerly winds on the weather system of the country at present.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is a general influence of the westerly winds on the weather system of the country at present.


According to the Division, in the morning, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces.

In the afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of the country, while the weather in the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to generally clear, the Department has informed the public through its regular bulletin. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
