KATHMANDU, Oct 29: The weather is generally changeable in most parts of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the western regions of Nepal are currently experiencing a partial influence of western winds.
The MFD predicts clear weather in the hilly regions, covering provinces like Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini. Meanwhile, other parts of the country are expected to have mostly clear skies.

Furthermore, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country, the Division said. There is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
The officials of the MFD have said that the weather will be partly cloudy tonight, and that there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the highlands and mountainous areas of the country.
The MFD officials have requested the general public to take necessary caution as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
