KATHMANDU, Nov 30: A welcome dinner has been hosted for heads of state and government participating in the Asia Pacific Summit at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu on Friday evening.
Attending the dinner reception are VVIPs including visiting State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi, Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is also taking part in the dinner reception. Also attending the dinner reception include UPF founder Dr Hak Ja Han Moon, President of Samoa Afioga Tuimalealiifano Va’aletoa Sualauvi II, President of Tuvalu Lakoba Taeia Italeni, former prime ministers of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal.
According to the organizer, Universal Peace Federation (UPF), over 500 special guests from 45 various countries are participating in the Summit organized with the slogan “Addressing Critical Challenges of Our Time: Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity and Universal Values”. The Summit will have a total 1,500 participants from countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
The Summit which started on November 30 will be over on November 2.
