The Election Commission has decided to implement the code of conduct for ministers, by-election candidates, voters, officials of constitutional bodies, employees, security personnel, members of the local executive, teachers, officials and employees of private and non-governmental organizations, development partner organizations, etc.
Will the code of conduct that has already come into implementation stop Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal from expanding the council of ministers or not? According to Paudel, the spokesperson for the commission, the code of conduct does not prevent the expansion of the council of ministers. He said, "The commission has implemented the code of conduct from Friday. It is not applicable across the country, but only in Bara, Chitwan and Tanahun where elections are held. Any activities can be done so that these districts are not directly affected.”
Chairman of the Maoist Center Dahal has expanded the cabinet seven times since he was appointed the Prime Minister on January 25, but the cabinet has not been completed yet. He has been saying in public programs that he will give complete shape to the Council of Ministers in a day or two.
