The participants held placards that read “Am I safe?”, “Change the attitude, not attire”, “Hang the rapists to death”, “Why is government silent on rape cases?”, “Why is Nepal’s female president silent?” and chanted slogans in an apparent bid to exert pressure on the government to expedite investigations into rape cases and punish the  culprits.
