Will support progressive party in polls: leader Baidya

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: The CPN-Revolutionary Maoist General Secretary Mohan Baidya today said his party would support any progressive republic party in the upcoming the House of Representatives and State Assemblies elections.

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: The CPN-Revolutionary Maoist General Secretary Mohan Baidya today said his party would support any progressive republic party in the upcoming the House of Representatives and State Assemblies elections. 


He criticised the recent electoral leftist alliance, and the announcement to unify after the polls as a rightist coalition while informing that dialogue was being held to unify the CPN with Rastriya Janamorcha.

The CPN leader was speaking at a press conference organized in the Capital to make public the decision taken at the 1st national conference of the CPN, which runs from October 8 to 12. 


The conference amended the party statute, and formed 95-member central committee, said party leader Hari Bhakta Kandel. RSS
