The electric wire installation has taken momentum after the task of erecting poles along the transmission line has come to a final stage. Almost seven years ago, the construction of the transmission line had started so as to connect electricity generated in Nuwakot and Rasuwa to central power grid.

Most of the 140 electric poles located along the transmission line have been erected and remaining poles are yet to developed and erected, informed Deputy Manager of the Project, Satyaram Jyakhwa.

“The construction of transmission line seems to be completed in the stipulated date with the resolve of problems such as resistance from locals on the construction of line, delay in determination of compensation and consumption of community forestry”, he added.
