According to the statics from the National Reconstruction Authority, only 24,158 locals have received their first installment for rebuilding their house as per the government’s provision. Likewise, 7,863 locals have got the second installment and 7,205 have received the third installment for the same. According to this, there are still many who are not living in a proper house. And this year too, they are bound to live in poor conditions where they are prone to suffer as they live in temporary sheds.

Sushila Kashichwowa is living in a temporary shed at Adarsha, Bhaktapur. She is one such victim of the earthquake. Six members in the family share the shed, "We are unable to build our house due to lack of finance. Before the earthquake, we shared a house where four families were living together, and now as a partition of property is yet to be done.  We have no choice but to live in this temporary shed."

Currently, her mother-in-law, father-in-law, husband, and children are living together in a room, where she added, "We are using cook, sleep and do all our work in one room. However, this year we faced difficulties whenever there were rain and hailstorm."
