RAUTAHAT, April 17: A woman was found dead under dubious circumstances here this morning. Body of Seemadevi, 25, spouse of Mukesh Chaurasiya of Harshatole of Katariya Municipality-1, was retrieved from a paddy field some 200 meters north to her house, police said.

She might have died last night, but its cause is yet to be ascertained, Area Police Office Garuda's police inspector Govinda Thapa, said. He termed the incident dubious and said investigations into it were underway.
The body has been sent to the Rautahat District Hospital, Gaur for post-mortem examinations. Mukesh and Sima had tied the knot three years ago and Mukesh is in Malaysia in connection to foreign employment for the past four months. Sima was staying with her in-laws. Her neighbours saw her body lying on the paddy field and informed the police.
