RAJBIRAJ, April 22: A 25-year-old woman died after being knocked down by a truck at Kanchanrup Municipality-11 in Saptari district along the East-West Highway on Saturday.
The deceased is identified as Anita Chaudhary from the same place where the incident took place when the truck (Na 5 Kha 8559) heading east fatally hit the motorcycle (Me 7 Pa 437) she was travelling in.

She died during treatment at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj, according to the District Police, Saptari.
The motorcycle rider, however, remained unscathed and sustained minor injuries, police said.
Police have impounded the truck and the motorcycle and have taken under control the truck driver for further investigation into the case. RSS
