RUKUM WEST, Oct 18: Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a woman who was found dead at Satkar Hotel in Musikot Municipality-1, Khalanga, Rukum West.
The police have not made the name of the person public. The District Police Office’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Namraj Bhattarai said that the suspect has been arrested and an investigation into the matter is underway.

He said that after Bhavana BK, 28, a resident of Musikot Municipality-7, Sankh, was found dead in room number 1 of Satkar Hotel, Khalanga on Tuesday morning, a police team from Kohalpur with a police dog investigated the scene and a suspect was arrested. The woman was found strangled to death.
During the initial investigation, it was said that the murder was committed for financial reasons.
