Woman killed in wild cat attack

KAWASWOTI, Oct 21: A local woman of Madhyabindu-7, Amasa in Nawalparasi district has lost her life to tiger attack.

KAWASWOTI, Oct 21: A local woman of Madhyabindu-7, Amasa in Nawalparasi district has lost her life to tiger attack. 


According to Sub Inspector at Chormara Police Post, Haridwar Dhobi, the deceased is identified as 45-year-old Agyawati Ranamagar.

The tiger had attacked her to death when she was collecting firewood and fodder in the local forest at around 9.00 am on Thursday. 


A joint squad of villagers and Armed Police personnel had moved to the forest to search the whereabouts of Ranamagar when she did not return home till Thursday evening. The team later found Amasa dead in the forest, police informed. 


The wild beast had attacked her neck first and eaten away the right leg part, police shared. The dead body has been kept at Primary Health Post, Chormara. 


She is survived by two sons and husband. Her husband is in abroad employment. RSS
