Worker dies in Shivam cement factory

MAKWANPUR, March 17: A worker died while cleaning at Shivam Cement  factory at Hetauda Sub-metropolis-16 Hatiya this morning.

MAKWANPUR, March 17: A worker died while cleaning at Shivam Cement  factory at Hetauda Sub-metropolis-16 Hatiya this morning.


According to the District Police Office, Rakib Akhtar, a 20-year-old Indian national, died after being trapped in a conveyor belt of a machine while cleaning the premises in the morning.

According to Police Inspector Raj Kumar Sapkota, Akhtar was rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment where he was declared dead at 8:30 AM.


Police said that they are investigating the incident and working to collect circumstantial evidence. The body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
