POKHARA, Aug 7: A newly-developed bungee jumping spot in Parbat is all set to kick off its operation. The 282-meter high bungee spot is said to be the second highest in the world and the highest in Asia.
A successful test jump was conducted recently at the spot built over the Kaligandaki River near Kusma Bazar, the district headquarters of Parbat.

According to Cliff Nepal, which developed the adventure tourism facility, regular bungee jumping activities will start once the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation comes to normalcy. “We are waiting for an opportune time to start the operation. Once the COVID-19 threat comes down, tourism activities can be carried out at normal pace,” said Raju Karki of Cliff Nepal.
The bungee spot has been built at the 520 meters long bridge that connects Kusma and Balewa in Baglung. In addition to bungee jump, other adventurous activities including swing and sky cycling can also be experienced here.
