KATHMANDU, Feb 15: A young man has drowned in the Rapti River in Badreni, Ratnanagar Municipality of East Chitwan. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, 31-year-old Prasanna Neupane of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11, drowned in the river.
Neupane's body was found floating in the river at 10:30 this morning by fishermen. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijayraj Pandit, spokesperson for the police office, said that the team of the local police office has started an investigation into the incident.

According to him, the body has been taken to Bharatpur Hospital for an autopsy.
