KATHMANDU, Oct 11: A dead body of a young man was found today on Bagmati river bank near the vegetable market in Baneshwar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31.
Bikash Mahara, 20, a resident of Sankhamul-10 of KMC, was found dead, said SP Kumud Dhungel, spokesperson for Kathmandu Police Range.

According to him, the packaging cover of a used empty syringe and a mobile phone were found with him. Preliminary investigation revealed that he was a drug user. The police said that further investigation is underway.
