Youth held for Hile Bazaar gold heist

DHANKUTA, Feb 8: A youth who broke into a jewelry shop at the dead of the night and made off with gold and jewelry worth thousands of rupees from Hile Bazaar in Dhankuta Municipality – 1 has been arrested, District Police Office, Dhankuta said.

DHANKUTA, Feb 8: A youth who broke into a jewelry shop at the dead of the night and made off with gold and jewelry worth thousands of rupees from Hile Bazaar in Dhankuta Municipality – 1 has been arrested, District Police Office, Dhankuta said.

Milan Adhikari Khatri, 23, of Itahari Sub Metropolis – 5 was made public by the police on Tuesday, said Superintendent of Police (SP), Sudeep Rajbhandari, of District Police Office. 


Khatri has confessed to stealing Rs 350,000 worth of gold and jewelry from Rejin Dhamal's shop at 2 am on February 4. The police have recovered the stolen items. RSS
