DAMAULI, Dec 6: A youth was killed in a shooting incident that took place at Thaprek of Shuklagandaki Municipality-1 in Tanahun district on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit Malla, 17, of the same area, according to the District Police Office of Tanahun.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yubaraj Khadka said that Malla died on the spot in the firing opened by a man. Police have arrested Sun Bahadur Gurung, 47, along with a gun after the incident. It is learned that Malla and Gurung are neighbors.
DSP Khadka said that further investigations into the incident is currently underway.
