KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma has opined that the youth should give up the penchant of going abroad.


Speaking in an event called 'Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2020' here today, he said youth should cooperate for nation development.

The conclave is comprised buy Universal College, Kathmandu Model College, Apollo International College, New Summit and Himalayan White House Engineering College. Minister said," Youth should use the information and technology to develop the nation staying in the country instead of dreaming for abroad."


He said the incumbent government is determined to support the youths.


The new Summit College Principal Dr Shivadutta Gyawali shared that about 3,000 students from across the country were attending the conclave. He said the conclave will be effective to inspire youths in positive path and in the mission of nation development.


On the occasion, cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane was felicitated by KYC 2020 Youth Icon with Rs 100,000 cash prize. Similarly, KYC 2020 Special award is given to Tekenwod player Ayasha Shakya.
