KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Twelve people were killed and 11 others went missing after a house collapsed due to a landslide in Acham district.
According to police, there has been huge loss of properties in Far West due to floods and landslides triggered by incessant rains since Thursday night.

Assistant Chief District Officer Achham Dipesh Rijal said that nine people have gone missing in Turmakhad Rural Municipality, Kada, seven in Kamala Bazar municipality and two others in Dhakari Rural Municipality.
Rijal said that a team of police personnel have arrived and rescue operations have started. He said that the bodies of 12 people have been recovered although further details are yet to be received.
