ACHHAM, April 2: Fifteen people sustained injuries by lightning strikes in the district on Monday evening, the District Police Office Achham said.
11 persons were injured in Panchadewal Binayak Municipality and four others in Ramaroshan Rural Municipality due to lightning strikes along with strong winds.

Of the injured, seven people from Tamakot of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality are said to be in critical condition, according to police.
Seriously injured seven from Panchadewal have been receiving treatment at Chiltada Health Centre while four others are being treated at Bayaalpata Hospital in the district.
